You may have seen these ladies on our InstaStory whipping up a nightly batch of drool-worthy Protein Ice Cream. This keto-friendly recipe may have you adopting similar habits. 🤤 Try it out and let us know (ingredients and tips below)!
1️⃣ Protein powder* (TrueNutrition Egg White Protein Powder works best)
2️⃣ Unsweetened Almond Milk
4️⃣ Stevia [sweetener of choice] – optional
MACROS [for very large bowl]:
Depends on protein powder and add-ins, but typically
MAJOR KEYS: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔑Don’t cut blending time. If using a good protein powder, blending for longer will result in more fluff (allow a good 5-10 minutes for this)
🔑Don’t overdo it on ice from the start. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔑Get it blending w/ less ice and add it in gradually to taste – it’s an art
🔑Pour milk or liquid of choice in first to avoid protein clumping at the bottom
🔑If it’s not blending, periodically stop blender and push down ingredients into blade-zone utilizing a knife ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
